Butterfly Girl’s Practice To Welcome Serenity
STEEP WITH SERENITY
A Steeping Ritual Practice
Prepare your tea and create a quiet place to simply be.
Light a candle. Put on soft instrumental music. As your tea steeps, look at the Seed of Love: Serenity shown here on the page.
Read the words slowly.
Tranquil. Peaceful. Serene.
Notice which word or phrase speaks to you.
Choose just one.
Perhaps it is trusting.
Perhaps surrender.
Perhaps acceptance.
Perhaps accept what is.
There is no right word to choose. Simply notice what draws your attention.
As you sip your tea and listen to the music, softly repeat that word or phrase to yourself.
There is nothing you need to force.
Simply stay with the word and notice what it awakens in you.
Notice any feelings, memories, sensations, images, or insights that begin to arise.
Stay with whatever feeling of Serenity begins to unfold, and remain with it as long as you can.
As you move into the rest of your day, see how many times you can return to serenity.

JOURNAL REFLECTION
Take a few minutes to write freely.
What images, feelings, memories, sensations, or insights came through as I contemplated the essence of Serenity?
What part of this experience would I like to carry with me into the rest of my day?
MEET THE PLANT
Passion Flower
(Passiflora)
Passion flower has long been associated with peace, devotion, and surrender. Its intricate blossoms have carried rich symbolic meaning for centuries, and in folklore the vine has often been connected with trust, receptivity, and a willingness to soften into what is.
Medicinally, passion flower has traditionally been used as a calming nervine to support relaxation, ease nervous tension, and settle restlessness. Herbal traditions have often turned to passion flower for occasional sleeplessness, mental overactivity, and those times when the body feels tired but the mind has difficulty letting go.
Passion flower is commonly appreciated for its calming qualities and for the way it can support a more settled nervous system. Modern research has also explored its naturally occurring plant compounds and their potential effects on relaxation and anxiety.
Beyond its chemistry, passion flower remains a plant of serenity, surrender, acceptance, and peace.
Other plant recommendations for Peace & Calm:

CULTIVATE THROUGH PRACTICE
Just as you tend to your Seed of Love and cultivate its qualities over time, your relationship with plants can deepen through consistency and mindfulness. Spend time with your herbs and medicinal plants. Be present with your tea. Allow the plant’s nature to become deeply familiar to you. Through consistent, mindful use, you give yourself the opportunity to receive the plant more fully and embody the qualities it represents
within yourself.
Choose one plant to spend time with consistently for 4–6 weeks, and notice what begins to unfold.
