Butterfly Girl’s Practice to Welcome Wisdom

MEET WISDOM

Imagine Wisdom as a person.

Let Wisdom take whatever form comes naturally to you. Notice their age, gender, clothing, face, eyes, hands, posture, even the way they smile.

Now imagine a knock at the door.
Open it.
Wisdom is standing there.
Invite them in and offer them a seat. Perhaps you share a cup of tea.

For a few moments, don’t ask for anything. Simply notice.

  • How does Wisdom sit?

  • How do they breathe?

  • How do they move?

  • How do they look at you?

Just be with them.
And when it feels right, ask:

“ Is there any wisdom you have for me today? “

Then listen.

You may not receive an answer in words. Instead, you may feel Wisdom, see it, or notice something about the way it moves and exists.

You may simply begin to feel what Wisdom feels like.

Allow yourself to experience that feeling. See if you can recognize a little of that same Wisdom already living within you.

As you move through the rest of your day, bring Wisdom with you.
When you find yourself unsure, pause and ask:

“ What would Wisdom do? “

JOURNAL REFLECTION

Take a few minutes to write freely.

What was it like to be in the presence of Wisdom?

What did I notice about the way Wisdom moved through the world?

What did Wisdom want me to know or remember today?

MEET THE PLANT

Brahmi

(Bacopa monnieri)

Brahmi has a long history in Ayurveda and is traditionally associated with the mind, memory, learning, and contemplative practice. Its name is connected with Brahman, the Sanskrit concept of ultimate reality or universal consciousness, which helped give the plant as reputation as an herb of higher awareness and wisdom.

Traditionally, Brahmi has been used as a medhya rasayana, an Ayurvedic category of herbs associated with supporting intellect and memory. Modern research as also explored Bacopa for cognitive function, particularly memory and attention.

Other plant recommendations for Centered & Grounded:
Tulsi, Ashwagandha, Burdock Root, Dandelion Root, Marshmallow Root

CULTIVATE THROUGH PRACTICE

Just as you tend to your Seed of Love and cultivate its qualities over time, your relationship with plants can deepen through consistency and mindfulness. Spend time with your herbs and medicinal plants. Be present with your tea. Allow the plant’s nature to become deeply familiar to you. Through consistent, mindful use, you give yourself the opportunity to receive the plant more fully and embody the qualities it represents
within yourself.

Choose one plant to spend time with consistently for 4–6 weeks, and notice what begins to unfold.
